Today marks the 67th anniversary of the use of an atomic weapon on Hiroshima, Japan. On this day in 2010 U.S. Ambassador John Roos was the first U.S. representative to attend anniversary commemoration events. This year Clifton Truman Daniel attended ceremonies marking the anniversary. His Grandfather, President Harry Truman, ordered the bombing.
